Last summer my wife and I decided to build a new house and we knew that at some point prior to it's completion our present home would have to be sold. We made a half-hearted attempt to sell the house ourselves but found it difficult to generate much interest beyond our neighborhood. We received a letter from Shane Adams and he came out to our house to explain his program for selling homes. Unfortunately, some time passed and we ended up listing our home with another realty company. This realtor made a lot of empty promises and it became clear that he was interested only in the listing of our house, not in actually selling it himself During the two months that he had our listing, our house was shown exactly one time!Recalling my earlier conversation with Shane, we decided to pull the plug on this realtor and give RE/MAX a crack at it. Immediately, the house began to show and with the increased showings we became more confident that our asking price of $159,500 could be attained. In less than a month we had an offer on our house and were very surprised to learn that the offer was $161,000 or $1500.00 more than the asking price. We still haven't quite figured that one out, but you can't argue with success.In the future we will not hesitate in hiring Shane to sell our home.
